ANNE MATILDA TIMMONS
LAUREL - Anne Timmons passed away peacefully at Evergreen Laurel Health Care January 28, 2006. She was born March 24, 1915 to Nicodmus and Elizabeth (Senn) Weisgerber, in Kronaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. At age nine she moved with her family to Dickinson, N.D. She attended school in Canada and North Dakota. In 1931 they moved to Bridger, Mont.She married Cyrus P. Timmons; they had two children, a son and a daughter. They had a farm north of Fromberg, Her husband died in June 1959.She lived in Fromberg many years. She worked over seventeen years as a lunch room cook at the school, retiring in 1990. She moved to Laurel in 1991, to be closer to her family. She was active in the North Side Club, Senior Citizens, CCW Society, St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Fromberg; she also belonged to St Anthony Catholic Church in Laurel. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cookingShe is survived by son Dan (Colleen) Timmons, daughter Diana Barnett both of Laurel, two grandchildren John Barnett of Laurel, Catherine (Jon) Muessig of Billings, and three great grandsons. Five sisters; Genevieve Roth, Clara (John) Roth, Rosemary (Marvin) Weatherman, Loretta (Edward) Allen, Georgia (Joel) Hayes, two brothers; Joe and Nick (Sarah) Weisgerber; two sister-in-laws, Frances Weisgerber, Vera Weisgerber; many niece, nephews and cousins.She was preceded, by her husband, parents, four brothers; Simon, Jack, Matt and Fred; a brother-in-law Bernard Roth and two sister-in-laws; Mary Ann Weisgerber, Margaret Weisgerber.Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel is in charge of arrangements.A Vigil, Rosary Service was held Jan. 31, with Funeral Mass set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at St. Anthony?s Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Rockvale Cemetery.Memorials may be sent to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or a charity of one?s choice.
