Birth: Jan. 13, 1865 Carmanova Transnistria Territory, Moldova Death: Jan. 5, 1945 Lehr McIntosh County North Dakota, USA Bio by Elaine (Becker) MORRISON – Katherina SCHEUFFELE born on the 13th of January 1865 in Neudorf, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia, was the daughter of Sebastian SCHEUFFELE and Elisabeth PFEIFFER. Katherina SCHEUFFELE married Adam BECKER in 1889 in South Russia. Katherina & Adam BECKER plus their first five children arrived at Ellis Island, New York on 21 April 1899 aboard the SS "Lahn" that departed Bremen, Germany on the 4th of April 1899. They first went to Eureka, McPherson, South Dakota and one year later moved on to homestead northwest of Lehr City in Logan County, North Dakota.
