SANDY--Tony Fleck, 63, passed away on December 28, 1998 after a tremendous battle with congestive heart failure.
He was born on February 8, 1935 in Hebron, North Dakota to Anton and Margaret Messer Fleck. He married Karen (Kay) Rappatta on February 3, 1971. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Era from 1954 to 1956. A devoted husband, dad and grandpa, he loved his "Babies" with all his heart. He loved fishing, hunting and traveling. He spent the last 18 years Rendezvousing and Pow Wowing with his many Mountainmen and Native American friends. He worked very hard for the success of Tony and Kay's Trading Post.
Survived by his wife, Kay; daughter, Susan Kay LaBine (Dan); son, Michael K. Fleck; grandchildren, Darcie, Amber, Josh, Mari, Cynthia, Katie, R.J., Christopher and Benjamin; brothers, Casey, Paul, Dennis, Jerry; sisters, Lucille, Sherry Ann. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Andrew; sister, Betty Sterriker.
Kay and Susan would like to personally thank Dr. Phil Kithas, Dr. Menno Lont, Jamie Clinton Lont, PA; and the V.A. Hospital for all they tried to do for him.
Funeral services Thursday, December 31, 1998 at l p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Wednesday 5-9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
