Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Baptist Health Care Chapel, 3400 Nebraska Dr. with Rev. Merle Hoots officiating. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of the service at the Baptist Home. Alice was born on Oct. 26, 1929 to Joseph and Catherine (Boehm) in Mandan, ND. She was raised and educated in Mandan. She married Donald Palenberg on December 26, 1961, in Mandan and together had three daughters. They moved to Bismarck soon after they were married. Alice enjoyed fishing, camping, playing games and spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Wanda (Van) Bryson, Jennifer Palenberg and Joyce (Kevin) Mehrer, all of Bismarck, five grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren and one on the way, two step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren, one brother, Edward (Viola) Schaner, of Mandan, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her parents, brother Alex Schaner, sister Margaret Schaner, and grandson Curtis R. Mehrer.
