Robert “Bob” Reinke, 41, Mandan, died Sept. 9, 2011. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, 801 First St. S.E., Mandan, with the Rev. Chad Gion officiating. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. CDT Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery, Flasher.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil will be held at 7 p.m.
Bob was born Aug. 25, 1970, in Bismarck, the son of F. Howard and Marion (Gartner) Reinke. He graduated from Flasher High School in May 1989 and the N.D. State College of Science in Wahpeton. He married Jennifer Susag on Aug. 18, 2000. Bob was currently working for Industrial Contractors Inc. as a general foreman at Minnkota Power Co., Inc. He was a proud member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 300.
Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, Hunter and Hudson, and his buddies, alongside his hunting dogs. He also enjoyed boating, golfing, watching all sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees, cooking knoephle soup and ribs, and making sausage. Bob loved the times spent relaxing at the cabin on Lake Tschida with his family. He loved to tell stories and jokes, and also liked dancing, gardening and canning. He especially loved listening to Hunter sing and watching Hudson dance.
He was beloved by all who met him.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jennifer and their sons, Hunter and Hudson, Mandan; his brother, Alan (Jeanne) Reinke, Corvallis, Ore.; his sisters, Barbara Kraft (special friend, Jerry Woodbury), Carson, Camilla (Stephen) Gross, Bismarck, Tracy (Brad) Offutt, Rochester, Minn., Naomi (Dean) Bohner, Lake Park, Minn., and Mary (Dave) Mattern, Lawrence, Kan.; brother-in-law, Kerry (Tammie) Susag, Harvey; his special friends, Wes (Karen) Schmidt; nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Nicole and Scott Reinke, Alanna (Chris) Solberg, Matt (Vicki) Gross and their girls, Laiken and Aurora, Amanda Gross (her fiance, James Hillis), Sarah and Alyssa Offutt, Katie and Megan Bohner, Stephanie, Mark and Alexis Mattern, Kasey, Kylie and Krystal Susag and Max, Sam and Tess Johnson; mother-in-law, Dianne Susag (special friend, Allen Zuther), Anamoose; and father-in-law, Mack (Pat) Susag, Harvey.
