Maxine A. Schlink, 71, formerly of Madera, Calif., died Feb. 28, 1988, at her Boyne City Home.
Private funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 4, at the Stackus Funeral Home, Boyne City. The Rev. John Ladd of St. Matthews Catholic Church, Boyne City, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Madera, Calif.
The former Maxine A. Sweeney was born Nov. 8, 1916 in Fort Wayne, Ind, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sweeney.
On Dec. 27, 1939 she married James D. Schlink in Fort Wayne, Ind. From 1950-74, the couple resided in the Fort Wayne, Ind. and Toledo, Ohio areas. In 1974, the moved to Mandera, Calif. and Mr. Schlink preceded her in death in August 1978. Mrs. Schlink moved to Boyne City a year ago to live near her son Joseph.
In addition to her son, Joseph, Mrs. Schlink is survived by sons James D. Jr. of Pittsburg, Pa., and Austin B. of Toledo; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs, Frank (Phylis) Maddux of Fort Wayne, Ind.
