Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Carlsen Funeral Home. the Rev. Richard Stetler officiated. Mr. Moser died August 20, 2009 at Avera Eureka Heath Care Center. John H. Moser, son of Christ and Martha (Mehlhaff) Moser was born August 24, 1948 at Eureka. His family lived in Hillsview, South Dakota where he attended school. In 1960 his family moved to Eureka. He had worked for the Fischer Twins as a farmhand for a number of years. In the late 1960's, he moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin and worked at Kohler Manufacturing for several years. He later moved to the Minneapolis area and worked in various jobs. In the fall of 1999, he returned to Eureka to be near family due to his failing health. Survivors include three brothers, Robert (Vicki) Moser of Leola, Marvin Moser of Eureka and James (Bev) Moser of Twentynine Palms, California and four sisters, Doris Knittle of Sioux Falls, Viola (Alan) Graff of Ashley, Arlene Kurle of Eureka and Betty Graff of Aberdeen. His parents, one sister, Marilyn and one brother, Donald preceded him in death. Honorary Urnbearers were John's nieces and nephews.
