Musician. He was a talented accordion player best remembered for his association with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra. In the fall of 1950, he joined Welk's orchestra and was Welk's right-hand man on one of the most popular TV shows in history until the program went off the air in 1982. Through the Welk TV Show, Myron brought the accordion into 32.5 million homes, playing everything from a polka, to a pop song, to a Bach cantata. After the show's concussion, he continued to perform with other Welk performers at various special engagements and other venues. In 2004, the Accordionists and Teachers Guild inducted Myron into the ATG International Accordion Hall of Fame. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
