Magdalena BECKER was born 29 January 1880 in Kassel, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia and died 28th of April 1966 in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Magdalena married John HAAS on the 25 May 1898 in Kassel, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia.
Magdalena and John HAAS with their three oldest children immigrated to America sailing on the 14th March 1912 from Bremen, Germany to Ellis Island, New York, arriving on the 29th March 1912 aboard the SS "Roon".
As per the ship's manifest Magdalena had $30.00 in her pocket. The family's final destination recorded as Irvine, Alberta to join John's brother, George HAAS. They proceeded to Canada by rail.
