Birth: May 13, 1840 Teplytsya Odes'ka, Ukraine Death: Jul. 1, 1912 Goodrich Sheridan County North Dakota, USA Ludwig FELCHLE born 13 May 1840 in Teplitz, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia was the son of Georg Friedrich FAELCHLE and Ursula Christina BAHNMUELLER. Ludwig married Elisabeth WEINGAERTNER on the 31st of October 1863 in Arzis, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. This union was blessed with no less than 10 children; Johannes, Elisabeth, Johannes, Elizabeth, Barbara, Anna Maria, Friedrich, Magdalena, Jacob and Katharina. Ludwig at the age of 53 with his wife Elizabeth and their children; Johannes, Elizabeth, Barbara, Maria, Friedrich, Magdalena, Jacob and Katharina, immigrated to North America via the Port of Bremen, Germany aboard the SS "Havel" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 29th of March 1894. The family's final destination was recorded as Eureka, McPherson County, South Dakota.
