DICKINSON ? Rose M. Mosbrucker, 84, Dickinson, died May 17, 2012, at St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Monday, May 21, at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson. Burial will be at St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson.
She is survived by four sons, Arnold, White Salmon, Wash., Ken and Joe, both of Dickinson, and Mike, Moorhead, Minn.; two daughters, Jeanne Hecker, Dickinson, and Joan Campell, Moscow, Idaho; one brother, Tom Oster, Dickinson; three sisters, Patricia Kovash, Irvine, Calif., Marie Wanner, Mott, and Vonnie Stradinger, Crookston, Minn.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Bio: A Funeral Mass for Rose Mosbrucker, 84, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation for Rose will be 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil service being held at 4:00 p.m. Rose passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at St. Benedict's Health Center in Dickinson. Rose M. Oster was born November 14, 1927 in Dickinson, the daughter of Joe and Kathryn (Muth) Oster. She grew up and attended St. Joseph's Grade School and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1945. She met and married Steve Mosbrucker on May 6, 1947 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dickinson. To this union, six children were born; Arnold, Kenneth, Joe, Jeanne, Joan and Mike. Together they raised their family, making Dickinson their home. Rose enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, walking, and growing flowers, especially roses. She also enjoyed being outdoors and fishing with Steve. She even shoveled her own walk until two winters ago. Rose enjoyed being together and having her children around. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Ann's Auxiliary, Dickinson Homemakers Club, and a past member of the German Hungarian Club. Rose is survived by four sons, Arnold (Carey Lee) Mosbrucker of White Salmon, WA, Ken (Peggy) Mosbrucker of Dickinson, Joe (Nancy) Mosbrucker of Dickinson, Mike (Janet) Mosbrucker of Moorhead, MN; two daughters, Jeanne (Lynn) Hecker of Dickinson and Joan (Shannon) Campell of Moscow, ID; one brother, Tom (Bernadette) Oster of Dickinson; three sisters, Patricia Kovash of Irvine, CA, Marie Wanner of Mott, ND, Vonnie (Les) Stradinger of Crookston, MN; one sister-in-law, Doris Oster of Redding CA; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Oster and Joe Oster; one sister, Carrie Lengowski; three brothers-in-law, John Wanner, Tony Kovash and George Lengowski; and two grandsons, Juan Mosbrucker and Todd Mosbrucker.
