teve was born May 6, 1925 in Glen Ullin, ND, one of twelve children of Adolph and Pauline (Deitrich) Mosbrucker. He attended Sacred Heart School for eight years and graduated from Glen Ullin High School in 1943. He entered the Navy and served in the Pacific Theatre and was discharged in November, 1945. Steve moved to Dickinson and started his bricklaying career with Shorty Turner. He continued in that profession for over 50 years. He married Rose Oster on May 6, 1947. Steve was a square dancer, and also instructed and was a caller. He was involved in the formulation of the Cub Baseball Program, Toastmasters, and was a Cub Scout Leader. He belonged to the St. Anthony, Knights of Columbus and the Eagles. He loved fishing, dancing, woodworking and playing cards.
Steve is survived by: his wife, Rose; his children, Arnold (Carey) Mosbrucker, Whitesalmon, WA, Kenneth (Peg), Mosbrucker, Dickinson, Joe (Nancy) Mosbrucker, Dickinson, Jeanne (Lynn) Hecker, Dickinson, Joan (Shannon) Campbell, Moscow, ID, Mike (Janet) Mosbrucker, Moorhead, MN; nine grandchildren, Michelle (Dan) Kirchoffner, Katrina (Glen) Wald, Timothy (Shelley) Mosbrucker, Jessica (John) Hoff, Carlos Mosbrucker, Erika Hecker, Andrew (Amy) Mosbrucker, Scott Hecker, and Tegan Campbell; four great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Konnor Kirchoffner, Jazmin Schaefbauer, and Kylie Wald; brothers, IJ (Mosey) Mosbrucker, California, John Mosbrucker, Valley City, Nick Mosbrucker, Dickinson, Bill Mosbrucker, Arizona, a sister, JoAnn Watts, Washington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; grandparents, two grandsons, Juan Mosbrucker and Todd Mosbrucker, three brothers and two sisters.
