  [S927] Obituary. William M. Matz William M. Matz, Grier City, died Thursday night at Coaldale State General Hospital. Born in Barnesville Sept. 22, 1902, he was the son of the late Martin and Louisa (Bernheisel) Matz. He is a retired car inspector for the Lehigh Valley Railroad. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Moore; two sons. William, Pottsville, and Joseph, Pennsburg; a daughter, Mrs. Fayne (Alicia) Cooper, Williamstown; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Christ Funeral Home, Hometown. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Skyview Memorial Park, Hometown.
