Hi Ursula,
So nice to hear from you in your wonderful English. My mother and
grandparents chose not to teach us German. It was a great loss. Their
intentions were good. They wanted us to be “Americans".
Your project is great and may finally answer the question I’ve always
had about why my ancestors emigrated. I’m a retired social sciences
teacher. I thought I would just briefly outline my siblings and then fill
in where I can later.
1. Mary Frances Boyle was born December 17, 1941 in Seattle, Washington
and died December 22, 2001 in Ashland, Oregon. She was married to Phillip
O Charbonneau in Seattle and they had four daughters. She had a son Miguel
Cisneros and remarried a man named Chuck Harshman who predeceased her.

in Seattle and is married to a woman named Mary nee Totman. They don’t
have any children together.

Marilou Krewer. They had no children. He died in Sacramento, California.

married twice in the State of Washington. He had two children; Richard A.
Boyle and Adrian Boyle. One from each marriage. He died in the Seattle in
August ?, 1997?
5. Cecilia Anne Boyle was born February 14, 1948 in Seattle. She married
Doug Desmond in December 16, 1979 in California. They have two daughters
Michelle Millar nee Desmond who also has two daughters and Diana Desmond
who is single.
6. Elizabeth Joan Nickerson nee Boyle born January 20, 1953 in Seattle. I
married Dwight Nickerson September 12, 1981. We have two children Brian
David Nickerson and Karen Elizabeth Nickerson. Brian has one daughter
Lillian Elizabeth Nickerson born January 14, 2008.
7. Lawrence James Boyle born August 28, 1954 in Seattle.
8. Rose Marie Boyle was born in Seattle November 10, 1955. She married
Thomas Zebroski in 1983? in Seattle. They have two children.
9. Thomas Richard Boyle was born in Seattle January 23, 1961. He has three
daughters.
These are just my initial thoughts off the top of my head while I’m
waiting for dinner to cook. I’ll do some research and fill in some
blanks. I don’t want to misstate anything.
One more thing. My mother, Pauline, died July 26, 1970.
Looking forward to working with you.
Happy Valentine’s Day,
Liz
