Birth: Jul. 31, 1931 Allegheny County Pennsylvania, USA Death: Jul. 24, 2015 Glenshaw Allegheny County Pennsylvania, USA Charles R. "Chuck" Berry, 83, of Glenshaw, died Friday, July 24, 2015. He was the husband of Judy O'Laughlin Berry and the late Marie J. Berry; father of Lisa (Chuck) Murslack, Randy Berry, Lora Berry (George Mitchell), Lynn (Dave) Locke and LuAnn Berry (Dave Novak); and stepfather to Rich (Jen) O'Laughlin, Greg (Gina) O'Laughlin, Valerie (John) Senko and Darlene O'Laughlin. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren. He was the son of the late Ralph G. and Mildred Gottschalk Berry; and brother-in-law of John Bubica. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a founding member of St. Bonaventure Church, where he was an usher for years. He was an officer in The Old Mens Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Chuck spent more than 50 years in the trucking business as either a fleet owner or in management and sales in the LTL Freight Industry. His last 17 years working (until age 77) was selling truck parts and service for Mack Truck and Point Spring and Driveshaft. He was a driver for the Elfinwild Meals On Wheels program and an AARP safe driving instructor. He always had to have a project going in order to keep busy. He had a great love for his family and friends, and was always there when help was needed. He will be greatly missed. Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at NEELY FUNERAL HOME, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bonaventure Church. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery, Gibsonia.
