Burial was in Elk Grove Masonic Cemetery. Nicolaus died Monday in a local Hospital. He belonged to Elk Grove Lions Club, Lodge No. 6, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and the Native Sons of the Golden West. Surviving are his wife, Mary; daughters, Mrs. Joan Faukner of Sacramento, and Mrs. Diane Campbell of Washington; brothers, Earl, Lester and George of Elk Grove and Charley Nicolaus of Sacramento; sisters, Mrs. Helena Capps of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Elva Tatterson of Sacramento, and five grandchildren. Andrews and Greilich Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
