  [S927] Obituary. Wilma Esther (Boschee) Thurn, 86, Bismarck, died May 8, 2013, at the Bismarck Baptist Home. Visitation will be Monday, May 13, at 11 a.m. with a funeral service at 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Wes Aardahl officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Wilma was born to Emil and Pauline (Martel) Boschee, Feb. 18, 1927, in McIntosh County. She attended a rural school in Logan County where she graduated from the eighth-grade. She moved to Bismarck in 1943 and married Edwin Thurn, Nov. 28, 1946, in the Wishek Reformed Church. Two children were born to Wilma and Edwin, Donald, May 25, 1949, and Gayle, April 4, 1954. Wilma worked in retail stores and for many years in food service for Bismarck Public Schools. During her life she was active in Faith Lutheran Church and several years in a Homemakers Club. Wilma is survived by her husband, Edwin, Bismarck; her children, the Rev. Donald Thurn, Albuquerque, N.M.; her daughter, Gayle Lund, Sharon; her granddaughter, Connie Lund, East Grand Forks, Minn.; her grandson, Nathan Lund, Sharon; her brother, Milbert Boschee, Bismarck; and her sister, Ella Aipperspach, Aberdeen, S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Pauline Boschee; and her brothers, Walter Boschee, Leon Boschee and Roland Boschee.
