Bio: Wife of Vernon R. Huber COL USAFMarlene A. Huber, 71, Mandan, died July 15, 2003, at her home, after a long struggle with cancer. She succumbed to the illness with her family by her side. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Al Leary officiating. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.=============Marlene A. Huber, 71, Mandan, died July 15, 2003, at her home, after a long struggle with cancer. They married on March 15, 1955, in Prattville, Ala., and had three children, Marla (Randy) Joersz, Scott and Jane Marie Huber. She is leaving behind three grandchildren, Mandy (Charlie) Dendy, and Blaine and Missy Joersz; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Huber, Newbury Park, Calif., Donna (Bob) Joersz, Mandan, and Lorraine (Virgil) Kilen, New Salem; her brothers-in-law, Duane (Georgette) Huber, Evermore, Calif., and Ed Makelke, Mandan; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her precious baby daughter, Jane Marie; her parents; her sister, Shirley Makelke, Mandan; her sweet great-grandson, Wyatt Dendy; her sister-in-law, Marlene (Bud) Kindel, Green River, Wyo.; and her brothers-in-law, Ed Huber, Newbury Park, and Bud Kindel, Green River.Marlene will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
