Anthony Ray Dewald
The funeral for Anthony Ray Dewald, Lehr, ND will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Anthony Ray Dewald son of Alfred and Irene (Wutzke) Dewald was born April 23, 1952 at Streeter, ND. He received his early education in Streeter, ND and moved with his family to the Lehr, ND area where he graduated from Lehr High School. After high school Anthony worked for Haybuster in Jamestown, ND before starting a repair business and hay grinding in the 1980’s and many local farmers. Anthony was the Mayor of Lehr, also worked for Logan County running the Blade and the Vculek farms in Crete, ND. He was currently working for Central Iron in Wishek, ND. Anthony enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing poker. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Anthony died Monday, June 20, 2016 at Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek ND. He was 64 years old.
Anthony is survived by one son, Brad (Annie) Dewald, Cooperstown, ND; three grandchildren, Razziel, Brady and Kennedy Dewald; two brothers, Arlo (Lisa) Dewald, Battleground, WA and Adrian (MaryAnn) Dewald, Wishek, ND; three sisters, Norma Smith, Fargo, ND; Verna (Lee) Metzger, Vergas, MN and Myra (Steve) Gregory, Belfield, ND; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Dewald, Wishek, ND and Cheryl Dewald, Avelsgard, Nimrod, MN, several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Linda Boschee, Wishek, ND.
