Wanda "Joyce" Reinboth was born to Louis F. Sander and Virgie K. (Garrels) Sander on Sept. 10,
193l, at Bruning, Neb.,and passed away at the Heritage Crossings in Geneva, on July 25, 2004, at the age of 72 years, ten months and 15 days. She was one of three children in the family.
Joyce, as she was called by family and friends, grew up on the family farm northeast of Bruning
and attended Bell Prairie Grade School until the eight grade. She graduated from Bruning Public High School.
On Oct. 2, 1949, Joyce was married to Donald Reinboth and they shared 54 years of marriage together. In 1952, they moved to North Carolina where Don was stationed in the Army. While they lived there, she gave birth to their daughter, Marsha Sue. After Donald completed his commitment to the army, they
moved back to Nebraska.
Joyce was a stay at home mom until 1971 and
at that time she became a secretary-bookkeeper for Mid America Feed Yard in Ohiowa. She worked for the feed yard for 23 years. During this time she also assisted her husband Don with their family business, Reinboth Plumbing.
Joyce enjoyed giving guitar lessons to many young people and sewing small Barbie clothes for all of Susie's dolls. Her hobbies included Beanie Babies and doing jigsaw puzzles. Time spent with her grandsons, Ty and Clayton were of immense enjoyment to her and during this past year she loved spending time with her great-granddaughter, Shelby. Time spent camping and fishing and other outdoor activities also were a large part of her life.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the church circle. She enjoyed participating in all 4-H activities involving her daughter.She was a caring, loving mother and faithful wife who was meticulous in detail and action.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis; by her grandparents, Sander and Garrels and by a brother-in-law, James Remmers.
Surviving are her husband Donald of Bruning; daughter, Marsha Sue and husband, William "Bill" Behmerwohld of Bruning;
grandsons, Ty and wife, Heather, and their daughter, Shelby of Mason City and Clayton and wife, Heather, of Geneva; mother, Virgie Sander at Heritage Crossings in Geneva; sisters,Patsy Remmers of Bruning and Carol
Maloney and husband,Woodrow of Omaha; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held July 29, from the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastors Keith Pearson and Lynn Strandt officiating.
Janice Fintel accompanied Kristi Coggins who sang "The Lord's Prayer" and the congregational singing of "Amazing Grace." A special taped selection of "Picture.
Me Without You" was played.
Casket bearers were Patrick Bentley, Brad Cabrera, Timothy Remmers, David Rippe, Lindsey Siebenneicher and Kenneth
Walker.
Honorary bearers were Ty Behmerwohld, Heather L.
Behmerwohld, Clayton Behmerwohld, Heather M. Behmerwohld, and Shelby Behmerwohld.
Joyce was laid to rest in the Bruning Public Cemetery with Farmer & Son Funeral Home assisting in arrangements. Memorials are directed to the.
