Birth: Apr. 5, 1917 Death: Nov. 5, 2000 William B Harvey died Sunday, November 5, 2000. Born on April 5, 1917 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of James and Ada (Butler) Harvey. He married Marjorie Carmichael, and she did in July 1940. He married Frances Burkhart Givens on November 26, 1960, and she survives. Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Madlyn Gly Howard of Clovis, NM; one step-daughter, Patricia Adams of Bedford, IN; one sister, Chloe Menger of Anderson, IN; two grandchildren; one step-grandchild; three great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild. Preceding him in death were two sisters. He retired from GM Powertrain in 1974, where he was a supervisor, and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was of Protestant faith. Gravesides services for William Harvey were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8th, Green Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
