Birth: Mar., 1913 Hysham Treasure County Montana, USA Death: Mar. 28, 2012 Spokane Spokane County Washington, USA Dolores Zent Young, who was raised in Hysham, Mont., a Miles City resident from 1945-1958, a Billings resident from 1958-1982, died peacefully in Spokane surrounded by family just days before her 99th birthday. She was preceded in death by her six sisters and brothers, all originally from Hysham, and her husband, Ray Young, in 1999. She has lived in Spokane for the past 30 years near children and grandchildren. Though she lived with limited vision for many years, she savored life's gifts each day. She is survived by her son Mike (Shirley) Young of Great Falls; her daughter, Cathy (Tom) Hopkins and grandchildren, Bethany Coupens, Steve Hopkins and Brittany Hopkins, Kevin Young, all of Spokane, plus Jeff Young, of Portland, and Tyler Young, of Minneapolis. A Funeral Mass was held in Spokane on March 30, and a private graveside service will take place at the Memorial Vale Cemetery in Hysham at a later date.
