SCHILLING, RICHARD, 89, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Southwest Hospital. He was a member of Beechmont Presbyterian Church and American Legion Highland Post #201. He served in the Army Air Corp in World War II and worked for Armor Elevator, Brakemeier Printing, and Sullivan Cozart. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane Brown Schilling; children, Steve Schilling (Judy); two grandchildren, Stephanie Seraphine (Jason) and Bryan Schilling (Brooke); great-grandchildren, Lucas and Jameson Seraphine and Brayden Schilling; brother, Otto Schilling (Dorothy). His service will be noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 1-8 p.m., after 11 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Beechmont Presbyterian Church or the Salvation Army.
