He was a past grand master of Independent Order of Odd Fellow Lodge of Indiana and was a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Jean Corley, and two sons, Gerald E. (Jerry) and David A. Voyles. Survivors include three daughters, Jane Southerland and Susan Lee, both of Galena, and Julie McClure of Palmyra; two brothers, John and Gene Voyles, both of Greenville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral: Saturday, April 17, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in Galena Cemetery. Family links: Parents: Homer E.
