Died on May 7, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center DuBois, Pa. She was born on November 25, 1925 in Elm Grove, West Virginia. Her parents were Otto J. and Ethel Fleahman Ebbert. She was married to James (Jim) W. Thomas on November 17, 1945 in Iowa City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1975. Celeste was a member at the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church. Celeste was a graduate of Triadelphia High School in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was active in several organizations over the years. She loved spending time outdoors and taking care of "the Place" which was her home and her pets. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and playing Bridge. She was retired and had been employed at C & P of Virginia and West Virginia. She had also been employed at Eastern Airlines in Atlanta, Ga as a Teletype Operator. Survivors: 1 Son: Daniel J. (Janice Anderlonis) Thomas of Altoona, Pa. 1 Brother: John Ebbert of Wheeling, WV. 1 Grandaughter: Krista (Brian) Rehm also of Altoona. 2 Grandsons: James Thomas of Florida. Shawn Thomas of South Carolina. 2 Very Special Great Grandsons Tyson and Trevor. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews and a very dear friend Sherry Wolfgang of DuBois. Preceded in Death: Parents, Husband, a Brother Larry Ebbert and a Sister Darlene. She is also preceeded in death by a companion Bud McKinley. Family links: Spouse: James W.
