KENOSHA - Frank J. Helbling, 61, died Monday, February 2, 2004, at his residence.
Born September 24, 1942, in Racine, he was the son of the late Frank N. and Bertha I. (nee: Neyhard) Helbling. On April 22, 1967, in Kenosha, he married Nancy C. (nee: Peterson) Stinson.
He attended schools in Racine. From 1960 until 1963, he served with the United States Army. For 27 years, he was employed at MacWhyte Wire Rope Company. Since 1994 until the time of his death, he was employed with International Filing Company in Waukegan, Ill. He also owned and operated the Wood Shop. He was a member of the Moose Lodge Local #286. For over 30 years, he enjoyed building custom furniture, crafts, and repairing antiques.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy C. Helbling of Kenosha; a son, Gregory (Cheryl) Stinson of Trevor; a daughter,
Christine (Raymond) Redlin of Kenosha;
a brother, Charles (Tammy) Helbling of Kansasville; a sister-in-law, Pamela (nee: Helbling) Krick of Burlington; and five grandchildren, Lacey, Wesley, Jordan, Alyssa, and Macauley. He was preceded in death by his brother, William C. Helbling.
Funeral services will be held at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720-39th Avenue, Kenosha, on Thursday, February 5, 2004, at 7 p.m. Inurnment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. The Moose Lodge #286 will conduct services at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 p.m
