Birth: Oct. 27, 1939 Lewis County Kentucky, USA Death: Apr. 25, 2003 Lexington Fayette County Kentucky, USA STANFORD -- Services for Wanda Oaks, 63, of Stanford will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Ottenheim. She died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born Oct. 27, 1939, in Lewis County, Ohio*, she was the daughter of the Late Charles and Oletta Mineer Meyer. She had worked as a registered nurse at Garrard County Memorial Hospital since 1973 and also worked at Fort Logan Hospital for 10 years and Veterans Affairs Hospital in Lexington. She was a member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church in Lincoln County. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Oaks; two sons, Randy and Bradley Oaks, both of Stanford; a daughter, Treva Tincher of Stanford; two brothers, Wayne and Kendall Meyer of Ohio; two sisters, Patricia Schieder of Richmond and Caroyln Jackson of Falmouth; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Stacey Taylor Jr., Jimmy Konkel, Steven Beckett, and Daniel, Kendall W. and T.J.
