Gettelfinger, 89, formerly of 1443 Willow Ave., died Wednesday at Westminster Terrace. She was the former Helen E. Clark and a retired registered nurse who had worked in public health and had taught home nursing for the American Red Cross. She was a past president of the old St. Joseph Infirmary Auxiliary and a member of St. Joseph Orphan Society, Queen's Daughters, Passionists Auxiliary of Louisville and Nazareth Home Auxiliary. Survivors: four daughters, Mary Gemma Thomas of St. Petersburg, Fla., Ann Plamp, Sue Hoffman and Nancy Quarles; a sister, Catherine Kerr of Moulton, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, St. James Catholic Church, 1430 Bardstown Road. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: Barrett Funeral Home, 1230 Bardstown Road, 1-9 p.m. Sunday.
