Wife of the late John Edward Lassalle for 40 years. Mother of Katherine Lassalle Murphy (Michael), Susan Lassalle Becnel, Kimberly Lassalle Muhoberac (Bryan) and the late Sandra Lassalle Wetzel (Marty). Grandmother of Korinne McLin, the late Kristopher Murphy, Andrea Bagwell, the late Brandon Becnel, Ryan Becnel, Kristen Muhoberac, Patrick Muhoberac, Taylor Muhoberac, Alissa Wetzel, Amanda Laney. Daughter of the late Sanford Aaron Wells and Tommie McGehee Wells. Sister of the late Sanford Wells, Jr. Also survived by three great grandchildren, Harrison Becnel, Hudsyn Bagwell and Harper Laney. Tommie was born in Magnolia, MS and was a longtime resident of Kenner, River Ridge, and Metairie, LA prior to moving to Ponchatoula, LA. Tommie was a member of Ponchatoula First United Methodist Church, a former member of First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula, Riverside Baptist Church, and Kenner Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the OES Nova Stella Chapter 36, Ponchatoula, and a former member of Encircler Chapter 191, Kenner, and Rob Morris Chapter 1, New Orleans, LA for a total of over 50 years. Tommie assisted in the operation of her husband’s excavating and contracting businesses for over 30 years. Tommie enjoyed singing, traveling abroad, crafting porcelain dolls and was an avid bridge player participating in several groups. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will be in the Chapel of Eternal Faith in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
