Gottfried married Christina SEPT on the 22nd of January 1876 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. The couple was blessed with 6 children; Gottfried, Louise, Mathilde, Louise, David and Emanuel Gustaf. Christina KRAUSE died on the 11th of December 1883 at Alt Posttal. Gottfried married Barbara HELLER on the 26th of January 1884 at Tarutino. This union was blessed with 3 children; Paul, Ottilie and Gotthilf. Gottfried KRAUSE at age 37, died in December 1889 at Alt Posttal. Barbara, nee HELLER married 2 more times; Gottlieb FODE m. 6 Feb 1892 at Tarutino, Jacob CROISSANT m. abt 1918 at Medicine Hat.
