Jeanette Koslowski, 35, Waubay, died Tuesday, September 30 , 2003, at Lake Area Hospital in Webster.
Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, October 4, at S t. Joseph's Catholic Church, Grenville. Organist was Mary J ohnson and soloist was Katherine M. A. Forrester.
Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction o f Moh's Funeral Home, Webster.
Pallbearers were Mike Block, Todd Block, Bruce LaBarre, Ran dy LaBarre, Bradley Smith, William Smith, Max Burger, and M ichael Burger.
Jeannette Opp was born February 13, 1968, in Britton to Cla yton and Faye (Smith) Opp. She atttended Britton Public Sch ool and graduated in 1986. She then attended Southwest Tech nical Institute in Granite Falls, MN, where in 1987 she rec eived a diploma in professional sales and marketing. She th en attended South Dakota State University, Brookings, and r eceived a bachelor of arts degree in English and educatio n in 1992. Jeannette continued her education at SDSU and re ceived a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 1995. Fol lowing college she worked as a registered nurse at Marshal l Manor Nursing Home in Britton.
On October 7, 1995, she married Mike Koslowski in Grenville . They made their home in the rural Waubay area. Jeannett e worked for the Strand-Kjorsvig Home in Roslyn where she w as the direction of nursing for 3 years. She then worked a s a RN at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown and most rece ntly she worked as a RN at Bethesda Home in Webster.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She enjoyed reading, watching the Minnesota Vikings, catalo g shopping, walking with her children at the lake, fishing , and watching movies.
Survivors include her husband of Waubay; one son, Colton; a nd one daughter, Madison, both of Waubay; her mother, Fay e Boucher, Hankinson, ND; and one brother, Jimmy Opp, Edina , MN.
She was preceded in death by her father and maternal grandm other.
