Born in 1949 in Rochester, N.Y., to George and Sarah Allman, David grew up playing baseball and studied pre-med at University of Louisville. He lived all over the country--his favorite place being Hawaii, where he met his wife Michelle and daughter Montana was born. He was a jack-of-all-trades and had a diverse career path, but he spent many years working in the golf industry, one of his life’s passions. Ever the practical jokester with an incredible sense of humor, he had innumerable friends. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Allman of Centerville; a daughter, Montana Cheever of Sandwich; and a sister, Marcene Griffin of Centerville. There was a celebration of life at Montana and her husband Chris’s vow renewal on June 18.
