Darlyn Ann Larson
Darlyn Ann Mosbrucker (Larson), 70, of Mott ND, passed away peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, April 25, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Darlyn was born on January 27, 1945 in Burt, ND to the late John R. and Martha (Srb) Zentner.She was the fourth of seven children. She attended school in Mott ND and later obtained her GED. She married Donald Mosbrucker on April 7, 1962 in Ft. Riley Kansas. Darlyn spent many years providing respite care. She truly enjoyed helping and taking care of others. In addition, she worked many years as a bartender at the Spur in Dickinson, the Pheasant Lounge in Mott, and at the Ridge in Mandan. During that time, there were many memories made and many life-long friendships created. She recently retired from the Ridge in Mandan. Since then she has enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her bar family. She always lived her life to the fullest. She was very genuine and kind-hearted. She loved reading, fishing, camping, karaoke, darts, bingo, slots, and dealing blackjack.
Darlyn is survived by 3 sons, Troy (Lisa) Mosbrucker of Mott, ND; Bob (Wendy) Mosbrucker of Bismarck ND; Kerry (Sherry ) Mosbrucker of Mott ND; and 4 daughters, Donalda (Mike) Hintz of Dickinson ND; Andrea (Ken) Baker of Sellersburg, IN; Lori Kehrberg (Bobby Neilson) of Lanai City, HI; and Jennifer Kehrberg of Mott, ND and their father, Wally Kehrberg of Belle Fourche, SD. She has 13 grandchildren, D.J., Justin, Magen, Michaela, Heather, Al, Mitchell, Chad, Kendon, John, Austan, RaeAnn, and Katie, and 6 great-grandchildren, Charlee, Tyson, Claire, Emmett, Caydee, and baby Jahner due May 2015. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Lawrence (Dianne) Zentner of Mott ND; Dean (Judy) Zentner of Mott ND; 2 sisters, Bernice (Roger) Senn of Mott ND; Donna (Craig) Dauenhauer of Safford, Arizona; and 1 brother- in-law, Kelly Doll of Tacoma, Washington.
Darlyn was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Brenda (Zentner) Doll; a brother, Duane Zentner; and 2 husbands, Donald Mosbrucker and Scott Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Mott with Fr. Charles Zins officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Mott. Inurnment will take place during a private service with family at a later date.
Serving as pallbearers are Justin Mosbrucker, Chad Mosbrucker, Al Mosbrucker, D.J. Mosbrucker, Kendon Mosbrucker, Mitchell Hintz, Shane Zentner, Austan Lindborg, and John Baker. Honorary pallbears are Magen Miller , Heather Jahner, Michaela Hintz, RaeAnn Mosbrucker, Katie Baker, Charlee Miller, Tyson Jahner, Claire Miller, Emmett Mosbrucker, Caydee Miller, baby Jahner, and friends.
