Finucane, 80, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Dove Healthcare Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born in Eau Claire on April 3, 1926, the daughter of Dr. Frank C. and Marie (Gibbons) Kinsman. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1943 and the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in dietetics in 1947. Jeane married Patrick J. Finucane on November 6, 1948, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Eau Claire. Jeane is survived by four daughters, Paula (Rob) Trulen of Milwaukee, Ann Finucane of White Bear Lake, Minn., Carol (Chris) Vonderhaar of St. Charles, Ill., and Jane Finucane of Eau Claire; her son, John (Cathryn) Finucane, D.D.S., of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Richard and Frank Kinsman, both of Naples, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Vicki) Finucane of Santa Clara, Calif., and Sam Chaney of Cupertino, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, Kyle and Carrie Trulen, Nick, Kristi and Brittany Grudem, Joe, Kelly, Eric and Alex Vonderhaar and Jeremy and Travis Finucane. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. Finucane, M.D.; parents, Frank and Marie Kinsman; a brother, John Kinsman; parents-in-law, Ray and Johanna Finucane; and three sisters-in-law, Winifred (John) Jeffrey, Shirley Chaney and Bonnie Kinsman. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2006, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father William A. Dhein celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving her family.
