Obituary of David Graf

Services for David Graf, 76, Dilworth, Minn., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Dilworth, with burial in St. Joseph's catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, and will continue at the church one hour before services. A prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
David Graf, the son of George and Margaret (Guthmiller) Graf, was born Dec. 5, 1919, on the family farm west of Streeter. David grew up in Kidder County, where he received his education. In 1936 David and his parents moved to Bismarck. In 1943, David married Agnes Hoffart at Hazen. After living one year in Bismarck, they made their home in Dilworth. David was employed as a sectionman with Northern Pacific Railroad, and then Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring in 1980 after 38 years of faithful service.
David Graf died May 19, 1996, in a Fargo hospital at the age of 76.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Agnes; one son, Gerald, Sumner, Wash.; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Dared Hertz, Bismarck; two granddaughters, DeAnna and her husband Jay Snell, Green Bay, Wis., and Heidi Graf, St. Louis Park, Minn.; two sisters, Martha Stolz, Jamestown, and Sally Wagner, Bismarck; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded om death by his parents; on son; two brothers; and four sisters.
