OBITUARY: "Martin, Marie A. (Nee Umhoefer) Sun., Sept. 10, 2006, age 95 years. Devoted wife of the late Peter X. "Savy" Martin. Loving mother of the late Paul (Barbara) Martin. Dear grandmother of David (Pamela) and Ross (fiancee Erin Houlihan). Proud great-grandmother of Lily. Marie was preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene, Hubert, Paul and her sisters, Sr. Henrica, Clara, Theresa and Helen. She is further survived by many caring nieces, nephews, friends and all those with whom she shared her special gift of life. Marie is also survived by her dearest friends, Karlene and Tony and very special "grandchildren", Calvin and Paul Sillman. She was also "grandma " to the Duffy and Curley children. Visitation will take place at the Schramka-Herrick Funeral Home Thurs., Sept. 14 from 4 PM until time of Prayer Service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Fri., 10 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls. Interment at St., Mary's Cemetery will follow. Marie was a faithful, lifelong member of St. Mary's. Memorials in her name may be made to St. Mary's For All Generations Campaign. The family extends sincere gratitude to the loving caregivers at Riverview Village for welcoming her home. We also want to give special thanks to Lynn, Kathy, Katie and Tim as well as the Critical Care team from VITAS Hospice for their compassionate care. Marie will always be remembered for her commitment to family and friends, her quick wit, high standards, faith and her generous loving ways. She will be greatly missed.
