Herman Joseph Wetch
Born November 27, 1921, passed away December 16, 2009 at age 88. He was a graduate of Analy High School and earned his pilot license at age 16. Herman worked in the family business, Wetch Bros., in Sebastopol and his brother's furniture store, The Red Barn. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II and served in the South Pacific, Australia. He loved flying planes and was an avid golfer and Giants fan. Formally a member of Redwood Flying Club, Sebastopol Golf Course 20-30 and Lions Club. Preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Ida Wetch and his brothers, Nick and George. He is survived by his wife June; son Randy; granddaughters Elizabeth Matheny and Joanna Ashford; great-grandson Tommy Ashford; brothers John and Phil Wetch as well as many nieces and nephews. No services will be held.
