Anton Rabel died at his home, 189 Orange street, Thursday noon following a stroke of apoplexy. He had been ill for the last two weeks. He was born in Austria-Hungary, June 28, 1869, and came to the United States 28 years ago. He lived in Ottowa, Ill. for six years and then went to North Dakota. Eight years ago Mr. Rabel came to Mansfield. He was employed at the Westinghouse and later worked for the city. Besides his wife he is survived by seven sons and three daughters. Max, Peter, Joseph and Phillip, live here, and the other two sons, Anton jr. and Valentine reside in North Dakota. His daughters are Mrs. John Teorksie, Gertrude and Marcella Rabel, all of this city. Funeral services, in charge of the J. A. Geiger funeral home, will be held at St. Peter's Catholic church Saturday Morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Father R. C. Goebel will be in charge and burial will be in the Mansfield Catholic cemetery.
