Birth: Feb. 10, 1933 Saint Anthony Morton County North Dakota, USA Death: Mar. 6, 1989 Bismarck Burleigh County North Dakota, USA Mrs. Wilbur (Scholastica) Mildenberger, 56, Solon, died of cancer, March 6, 1989 in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Florian Fairbanks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 6 CST tonight at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan. A St. Maria Verein rosary will be said there at 7 tonight, followed by a St. Peter and Paul rosary will be said at 8. A Christian Mothers rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a St. Anthony Verein rosary at 8 and a parish rosary at 9, all at the funeral home. Scholastica Wetzstein was born Feb. 10, 1933, at Solen, where she was raised and educated. She graduated from Mandan High School. She married Wilbur Mildenburger, Oct 14, 1952, at St. Anthony. They farmed in the Solen and St. Anthony areas. She is survived by her husband; two sons Marvin, Phoenix, Ariz., and Curt, Bismarck; four daughters, Mrs. Les (Joyce) Fleck, Mrs. Doug (Lisa) Schmidt and Mrs. Dale (Lenore) Schmidt, all of Solen, and Mrs. Gary (Valene) Nelson, Monroe, Wash.; five brothers, Ralph, Bismarck, Vincent, Bothel, Wash., John, Everett, Wash., Paul, Denver, and Pete, Irons, Mich.; seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Polensky, Dickinson, Mrs. Margaret Leingang and Mrs. Minnie Schmidt, both of Mandan, Mrs. Amy Ferderer, Roseville, Calif., Mrs. Kathleen Nickolson, Mission Vallejo, Calif., Mrs., Maggie Hermanson, Tacoma, Wash, and Mrs. Rose Braun, Seattle; and 11 grandchildren.
