  [S927] Obituary. Robert Meidinger, 80, Bismarck, passed away July 12, 2016, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. A private celebration of life was held July 18 at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Burial was at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Robert was born June 24, 1936, to Arthur and Frieda (Aipperspach) Meidinger in Zeeland, where he was raised and educated. Robert worked as a forklift operator in the Bismarck SuperValu warehouse. He enjoyed music and played the accordion with a few bands throughout the years. He is survived by one daughter, Rita Anderson, Mandan; four sons, Ricky, Fargo, Russ (Kris), Bismarck, Randy, Long Lake, S.D., and Ross (Alicia), West Fargo; one brother, Clinton Meidinger, Ashley; seven grandchildren, Sherry, Bruce, Paul, Emily, Noah, Alex and Parker; one great-grandchild, Cali; and numerous nieces and nephews.
