Mr. Ochsner came to Medina from Scotland, South Dakota in the spring of 1900. He purchased a section of land, and at once built up and opened a fine farm. The funeral will take place at Medina, Tuesday, at 1 o'clock.He leaves a wife, four children and a brother, Charles H. Ochsner, to mourn his loss. Their children were: John Henry Ochsner (2 Dec 1883-25 Mar 1941), Lydia, Mrs. Robert Rockwood (11 Aug 1885-15 Jan 1972), George Manuel Ochsner (26 Jun 1890-3 Aug 1981, Mahnomen County, Minnesota, burial unknown) and Frederick William Ochsner (25 Sep 1894-11 Oct 1965).The 1900 US census shows John (42), Mar 1858 and Louise (36), Jul 1863 with their four children John Henry (16), Dec 1883, Lydia (14), Aug 1885, George Emmanuel (9), Jun 1890 and Frederick William (4), Sep 1895 living in Stutsman County, North Dakota.
