Kathryn R. Rotenberger of Quakertown passed this life and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 1 at the age of 97. She was born in Brick Tavern, Milford Township in July 1914, the daughter of Harry and Verna (Barnhart) Ream. Kathryn was the wife of the late Linford J. Rotenberger who died in 1996. They were married for 55 years. Kathryn graduated from Quakertown High School in 1932 and devoted her life to her Lord and her family. She aided her husband in the early beginnings of the Friendly Book Store as well as serving as a Pastors wife for over 40 years. She was a member of Springfield Church of the Brethren. Survivors: Daughters, Donna, wife of L. James Roberts Jr., Nancy, wife of Brent Zintak and Kathy, wife of Robert Pickering, all of Quakertown area; grandchildren, L. James Roberts III, Suzanne (Christopher) Collier, Michael Roberts and Kevin (Rachelle) Zintak; great-granddaughters, Rabecca and Emma Zintak; she is also survived by her sister, Anita Ream Benner of Hummelstown; and many nieces and nephews. Services: Will be Friday, 11 a.m. at the Springfield Church of the Brethren, 920 Passer Rd., Coopersburg. Call 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, www.janauglefcs.com or 10 to 11 Friday at the church. Interment church cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Church of the Brethren.
