Buckalew, 53, of Forsyth, passed away on Friday in St. Vincent's Hospital after a short illiness. He was born Jan. 2, 1920, in Forsyth, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Purl Buckalew. He was reared in Forsyth. He worked in the Forsyth Bakery. He married Ruth Ann Kuntz March 7, 1942, in Forsyth. They moved to Glendive in 1953, and to Roundup in 1959, and to Billings in 1961. Survivors include the widow; three sons, Floyd Jr. of Billings, George P. of Boise, Idaho and Michael R. of Billings; two daughters, Ruth Ann Wickstrom of Boise, Idaho and Betty Jo Hudson of Billings; two brothers, Austin of Billings and Paul of Forsyth, and a sister, Zlona Reid of Wolf Point. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday in Beals Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Beals Chapel, with the Rev. Tom MacTague officiating. Burial was in the Forsyth Catholic Cemetery.
