He was born in Grassy Butte, North Dakota on February 27, 1942 to Gabriel and Magdalene Boespflug. He was an owner of his own construction business. Don is survived by his wife, Janice Boespflug of Vancouver, Washington; his former wife, Yvonne Lefor-Boespflug of Battle Ground, Washington; daughter, Beth Johnson; three sons, Randy, Robert and Donny Boespflug, all of Battle Ground, Washington; step-children, Bill and Ben Perkins of Vancouver, Washington and Buford Perkins of Battle Ground, Washington; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy Boespflug and two sisters, Lynda Berger and Rose Marie Tormaschy of North Dakota and LaVern Boespflug of Brush Prairie, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents. A service was held at St. Mary's of Guadalupe, 1520 N. 65th Ave., Ridgefield, Washington on Sat., May 26, 2012 and he was laid to rest at the Lone Pine Cemetery, 115 Dart Rd., Ariel, WA. There was a potluck style gathering for friends and family after the services at the Battle Ground Elks Lodge in Battle Ground, Washington. Published in The Columbian, Vancouver, WA on May 23, 2012.
