Paul Mosbrucker
Paul R. Mosbrucker, 48, of Bowman passed away on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 at the Southwest Healthcare Hospital in Bowman after his courageous battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian burial for Paul will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at the St. Charles Catholic in Bowman. Father David Morman will celebrate the Mass with burial to follow in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Bowman. There was a Family, Friends and Scripture Service beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday evening, Nov. 5 at the St. Charles Catholic Church. Visitation for Paul was on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.
Paul R. Mosbrucker was born on Dec. 26, 1966 in Bowman, the son of M. Gregory and Merceine Mosbrucker. He was raised and educated in Bowman where he attended Bowman School and graduated from Bowman High School in 1985. After high school Paul started working at Nordberg’s Chevrolet where he detailed cars making them ready for sale. In 1991, Paul then moved to Fargo where he attended Dakota aero tech and received his certification in Air Frame Maintenance and Repair. Paul later returned back home to Bowman where he would work for both Jim’s Body Shop and Tom’s Auto Body. He then went back to work for Nordberg’s in the parts department and eventually into car sales. Paul continued working in sales for Nordberg’s until 2008 when he went full time with his own business that he had been running for years, High Plains Towing and Glass.
His daughter Shayna Mosbrucker was born on Nov. 21, 1996. Paul loved Shayna very much and he spent many hours on the road so he could attend most of her activities. On Dec. 29, 2006, Paul was united in marriage to Tara Lindstrom. With this union, Paul welcomed Tara’s son Devin into his life where he would help raise Devin like a son of his own. On Jan. 2, 2014, after trying so hard to add to their family, Harper Mosbrucker was born making their family complete. In December of 2014, Paul was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. Through all the countless hours on the road and all the treatments and all the struggles, Paul’s positive attitude not only carried him, but it helped his family and his community through many difficult days.
Paul enjoyed so many things throughout his life. Most of all, Paul absolutely loved anything and everything to do with his children. He was a man that would drop whatever he was doing if someone needed help. He would always greet you with a smile, maybe play a joke on you and have great conversations. Paul always put others ahead of himself. He loved to tinker and restore cars and pickups. He was a very talented artist but only used it as a hobby. He also was a very talented baker and cake decorator like his mother Merceince. Paul was a member of the Bowman Fire Department where he loved each and every member and their families like they were his family. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he has touched through friendships, car sales, towing and just giving a helping hand.
Paul is survived by his wife Tara and children, Shayna, Devin and Harper, father, M. Gregory Mosbrucker, father and mother-in-law, John and Peggy Lindstrom, brothers, Dave, John, Mark and Joe (Monica) Mosbrucker, brother-in-law, Josh Lindstrom and fiancé Melissa Hilton, nieces and nephews, Cody, Sara and Camryn, Paige, Porter, Ava and Brayden, aunts and uncles, Dorothea Howey, Kenny (Deanna) Heinrich, Leo Heinrich, and Donald and Connie Heinrich and several cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother Merceine, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mosbrucker and Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Heinrich, aunt Karen Heinrich, uncle Robert Howey and cousin Kenneth Heinrich, Jr.
Memorials are suggested to the Dakota Western Bank where accounts have been established in his children’s names or the Bowman Fire Department.
Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Services in charge of the arrangements.
