Married Oct. 19, 1931, Pleasants Co., West Virginia to Herman Millslagle/div. Feb. 1937 and Sept. 1, 1937, Washington Co., Ohio to Herbert Schramm. (Marriage, census & death records DO confirm that Hazel was 22 years younger than Herbert, and he preceded her in death in 1973.) Mother of Joanne Millslagle and Dwayne, Karen & Renise Schramm. Grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of eight. Died (widowed) at 91y 8m 27d. The following is adapted from Aug. 23, 2003 obituary in The Marietta Times, courtesy of #47355918: Hazel Armada Schramm, 91, of Wright Road, Marietta, died at 4:03 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 21, 2003) at Marietta Memorial Hospital after spending most of her life in the Marietta area. (Four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.) She graduated in 1930 from Troy Township High School in Coolville and several years later from International Accountants of Chicago. She had been employed in the bookkeeping departments of various companies, including Marietta Memorial Hospital and Selby General Hospital and later as office manager at Eastern Electric & Electronics of Parkersburg and Mineral Wells, W.Va. until her retirement. She was a member of Evergreen Bible Church and had been a member of the choir, the missionary board, and the auditing committee. In addition to her parents, husband, and siblings, she was also preceded in death by son Dwayne Schramm and grandson, James Hock Jr. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Aug. 25th, at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with the Rev.
