Wegman of Phoenix, a retired National Service Officer for Disabled American Veterans in Phoenix and former resident of Port Jervis, died Friday, Jan 1, 1999, at the home of his sister in Norwood, NJ. He was 57. The son of Erminie Rugolotto Wegman and the late Arthur G. Wegman, he was born Aug. 22, 1941, in Port Jervis. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #1 in Phoenix, Ariz. He graduated from St. Mary's School, Port Jervis and St. John's High School, Goshen. Survivors include his mother, Erminie Rugolotto Wegman of Port Jervis; two sisters, Carole L. Wegman of Westwood, NJ and Mary W. Coppola and her husband, Ralph of Norwood, NJ; two nephews, Michael R. Coppola of Hoboken, NJ and Jeffrey A. Coppola of Boston, Mass.; and several cousins. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Sunday, Jan. 3, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis. A Vigil Wake Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis. The Rev. Dennis Dinan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis.
