  [S927] Obituary. KLEINFELD JOAN NIST KLEINFELD of Macungie, PA., formerly of Euclid, OH., passed away peacefully on January 15, 2015 at the age of 86. Born in Saybrook Township to the late Robert and Irene (Boomhower) Nist, Joan lived most of her life in northeast Ohio. A graduate of Flora Stone Mather College, she received a degree in music and was a member of the Cleveland Philharmonic and Western Reserve University orchestras. She also taught violin for many years and was an active volunteer in literacy and music activities in the community. A warm and caring person, Joan always enjoyed sharing her lifelong love of learning and music with her family, friends and students. Survivors include two sons, Rolf (Debra) and Jeffrey (Elaine), four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. VISITATION WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, JANUARY 20 FROM 7-9 P.M. AND WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21 FROM 9-11 A.M. with services immediately following at THE CROBAUGH-DANAHER FUNERAL HOME (LOCATED WITH THE JAKUBS AND SON FUNERAL HOME), 936 E. 185 STREET, CLEVELAND. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula. Memorial donations may be made to The Cleveland Orchestra and Musical Arts Association (www.clevelandorchestra.com).
