Birth: Aug. 3, 1930 Hillsboro Washington County Oregon, USA Death: Dec. 16, 2004 Hillsboro Washington County Oregon, USA Son of Martin F. Senko and Julia M. Heinrich. Father Senko attended minor seminary at Mt. Angel and graduated college there in 1952. He received his theological training at St. Edward Seminary, Kenmore, WA, and was ordained on May 19, 1956, by Archbishop Edward Howard. Subsequent to his ordination, he received a master's in education degree from the University of Portland. Following ordination, he was a teacher, and then prinicpal, of St. Boniface High School, Sublimity, from 1956 to 1958. For the 1958-59 school year, he was a teacher and vice-principal at St. Francis High School in Eugene. From 1959 to 1962, he was a teacher at Central Catholic High School, Portland; and then from 1962 until 1970, he was a teacher, and subsequently principal, at North Catholic High School in Portland. In 1970, he became administrator and the pastor of St. Frederic Parish in St. Helens; in 1977, he was named pastor of St. Rose Parish in Portland until 1980; in 1981 became pastor of St. John Parish, Yamhill, until 1992. For a short time he was pastor of St. Peter Parish in Portland and then became administrator of St. Alexander Parish in Cornelius from 1995 until 1998. He retired in 1998. Father Senko is survived by his sisters, Barbara Beaulieu and Mary Herb, and by two brothers, James F. Senko and Robert M. Senko. Family links: Parents: Martin Francis Senko (1905 - 1970) Julia M.
