He suffered a stroke earlier in the day and in the evening passed away. He was 85 years old. Services were held at the Karl Schweers funeral home at 2 p.m., Rev. H. J. Lane of the Methodist Church officiating. Mr. Aderman was born in Berlin, Germany, August 10, 1853, and that the age of 2 1/2 years as parents brought him to America. They settled on a farm in Manitowoc County. Since he was 19 years old, Mr. Aderman had in some way been associated with the lumbering business. On December 7, 1887, he married Anna Gayhart of Clintonville. They spent some of the early years of their lives in the town of Red Springs, where Mr. Aderman served as town treasurer and a member of the school board. Previous to coming to Shawano he operated a farm a few miles north of the city. Besides his widow he is survived by nine children, William, Jr., of Shawano, Edward of Elgin, Illinois, Milton of Shawano, Sherman of Somers, Wisconsin, Lyman, Harvey and Clinton of Shawano, and two daughters, Alice member of the Lincoln school faculty, and Edna of Eau Claire.
